About Joy
I bring 35 year of extensive knowledge of the real estate, and offer my clients outstanding levels of service. I retired in 2013 after 33 years from Greenwood Communities & Resorts, Inc. Throughout my career I was involved in high-end resort and waterfront – ocean and lake – developments and operations as well as primary home master planned communities throughout the Carolinas, Georgia and Florida. My primary responsibilities were overseeing sales and marketing for the company as well as creating sales strategies.
Currently living in downtown Greenville allows me to have a close relationship with the market – what is here and what is to come. My goal is to have long term clients – to service their initial needs through the retirement years – and everything in between. In addition, for those ready to purchase second homes I have established relationships with many realtors throughout the Southeast and visited numerous waterfront and mountain properties, therefore I am uniquely qualified to offer advice on many locations.
I am a graduate of the College of Charleston and received a Master of International Business Studies (MIBS) at the University of South Carolina.
Throughout my life I have served in a number of civic positions: • Currently I serve on the boards of Wesley Commons, a continuing care facility in Greenwood, SC and HospiceCare of the Piedmont. At HospiceCare she served as the Building committee chair for the Greenwood Hospice House • Served on the Diaconate and Treasurer of Greenwood First Presbyterian • Has served on many condominium and community association boards.
I am a native of Troy, South Carolina and have two daughters, Langley and Caroline.
